Welcome to Phoenix ABC TEFL Centre of Ireland, since 1991 a leading and established provider of TEFL courses in Ireland. We offer both Foundation and Advanced Distance Learning courses ideally suited to those interested in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (T.E.F.L.) both here in Ireland and internationally.

TEFL Employment Options in Ireland and Abroad

We are now in our 19th year of preparing our students to teach TEFL classes and provide our students with invaluable advice regarding TEFL employment opportunities both here in Ireland and the world over. We have information on the increasingly popular Homestay option for those interested in hosting students in their homes here in Ireland. Through our many years in the business we have built up extensive contacts with TEFL employers and actively work to secure employment for our graduates.

TEFL Course Options available to you

Since 1991 we have conducted over 400 TEFL courses in Ireland and over 12,000 students (and counting!) have successfully completed our TEFL course and received our internationally accepted certificate. Phoenix ABC TEFL Foundation courses are offered in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Tralee, Sligo and Belfast as well as other locations in Ireland. Our goal is to equip each trainee who attends a Phoenix ABC TEFL course with the skills and knowledge necessary to function effectively as an EFL teacher at all levels and in different teaching situations.

English is the language of international business and the Internet so the desire of everyone from business executives to college students to learn English has never been greater. There is a huge demand for suitably qualified TEFL teachers not just here in Ireland but throughout the world.

Over the years Phoenix ABC TEFL has built up a wide range of contacts at TEFL schools to help our graduates secure employment both in Ireland and abroad. Students who attend one of our foundation courses can fill out a Job Access Form and sign up for our TEFL Job Register. At Phoenix ABC TEFL we pride ourselves on the personal contact we give to each of our students so our dedicated and experienced tutors will advise you on the best TEFL employment options available for your particular situation. We have a proven ability to help secure employment for our graduates both in Ireland and abroad and the results are on display at our Foundation Course.

In addition, many TEFL employers submit their TEFL school openings to us. These job openings are from across the world and are available for your review throughout the weekend of a Foundation course.
